[ There's a hum of agreement from Ernesto, followed by a short laugh. The portal is definitely important to keep hidden, and there's probably good reason to worry about those who opted to stay in Godsblood. ]
You shouldn't worry about me personally, but we should definitely make sure any Pleroma who are staying in Godsblood, or who even take frequent trips into the city, are aware of what might be waiting in store for them in the future. There's a higher risk in staying here long term now, and I think it's only fair people understand it before they take it themselves.
[ That said... ]
But I don't think the people of Godsblood will take too kindly to Kenoma suddenly swarming their streets trying to root us out either, so as long as the Regent doesn't want direct confrontation with Godsblood we might be okay if we manage to lay low and keep our heads down.
Way down... I don't know if you're familiar with Kim Dokja, Miss Himeka? But he picked a fight with one of the Kenoma that was in town, and got outed as an Aion...
[ Though here's the twist in the story, and Himeka can feel the uncertainty Ernesto has about the choice that was made. ]
Not as a Pleroma though. The kid claimed Dokja was another Kenoma, but either way it's going to put a mark on him in this city.
[ He raises a good point. From what she does understand of Godsblood, while they are under the Regent's influence, they don't particularly seem to like it. It was part of the reason the Pleroma could walk around undetected as long as they don't make a show of it. ]
Hmm...well, I know the forest doesn't appeal to everyone, but the people here in Greentruth are more than happy to take in any Aions should it come to that. I feel like I can say that with confidence.
[ They were eager to accommodate the Aions who visited during their little welcoming party to the newer Aions, after all. While they may not hold Aions to the same status of godhood like other peoples, there is a certain reverence and respect.
At the mention of Dokja, though, Ernesto will feel a rush of familiarity as well as short image of her tending to his wounds not far from the portal in Godsblood. Abel is there too. ]
I am, yes...it sounds like that's something he's done before.
[ She doesn't recall all the details but Abel had managed to pull Dokja out before the Kenoma could really do him in. She'd stayed in Godsblood to tend to his wounds for a few days after, even. ]
So he may not be safe there anymore. Though...why would they claim him a Kenoma?
[ He should have guessed that Dokja got mended up by Himeka. For someone who was supposedly close enough to death that Gen was unsure he made it out alive, Dokja looked like he was doing relatively well when Ernesto ambushed him at his home awhile back.
From the brief flash he gets from Himeka though, he can see why Gen thought he might have been... It looks like it was much worse than Ernesto had even thought, and yet this fool still tried to pick a fight with the kid...
He's thrilled to have to bring this particular problem to Himeka's feet again. ]
I'd hate to put too much stress on already strained resources though, but it might not be a bad idea for Mr. Dokja to head over there if he's willing.
[ And he sighs now. ]
I can't really say what was going on in his head when he made that claim, but it did the damage it was intended all the same.
[ She hasn't spoken to Dokja since, really--he seems like the kind of person who prefers others stay out of his business. Though now she's wondering if that was really the best choice.
[ She's not wrong about that, or at least that's also the sense that Ernesto got...
While actively still meddling in his business. ]
At his place in Godsblood. I asked Father Abel to check on him, since it seems like he knows more about what Dokja's history with people on the other side is.
[ Ernesto isn't saying no to having more people check in on Dokja, but... ]
You'll probably want to be careful approaching his place. Since he's been marked as an Aion, you won't want anyone seeing you go in and out of it.
[ That said... ]
I can give you his address if you want it though.
[ Should he ask Dokja's permission first before giving things like this out? Yeah, but Dokja would say no, and Dokja's clearly not making good decisions here. ]
[ And here it is! The address that Ernesto is giving her! Which is... whatever it is, and is mostly being typed this way so I don't have to make one up, or force Yuul to do it.
The question throws him off though. ]
Hm? I enjoy some. I can't say if Mr. Dokja does or not though.
[ Since Himeka is paying him a visit, he would assume that question would be more relevant regarding Dokja's taste, right...? ]
[ Oh...? Well that takes him by surprise. He'd been so focused on trying to put on the fires caused by the Kenoma's visiting that this kind of jars him for a second, and he actually takes a few seconds to reply.
Though when he finally does the surprised confusion is slowly replaced by amusement. ]
I wouldn't say no if it wasn't too out of your way.
Great! I'll make a few extra, then. I hope you're a fan of whales. Abel got really excited about them so I wanted to see if I could make them look a bit like his favorite animal.
[ That is not what Abel got excited about. Ah well. ]
[ Honestly though? Ernesto could completely believe Abel would get excited for whales though. Not quite as excited as he'd probably get at the prospect of food in general, regardless of what animal it was shaped like. ]
A fan?
[ He laughs, not sure how to response to that, but... ]
Not sure about that, but I'd say I'm pro-whale overall.
so generous u////u

[ Abel does seem to be good at getting to know people, doesn't he? ]
Well, I have another bit of stock for you and something to deliver to Abel as well, so mayhaps I will see how that has gone.
ah, there he is. that kim dokja

their good (bad) boy
[ To have his address, that is. If he's moved or she's forgotten where he's situated.
Still, she is a little hesitant if only she feels he's not the sort of person that would appreciate an unsolicited visit. ]
I may see what Abel thinks first. I do have a few things for him as well. Do you like sweets, Ernesto?
mostly bad right now

she still loves him
I'm asking about you, not Dokja.
[ Obviously! ]
I'm making some for Abel, but if you'd like I could bring some for you too.
and that's what matters

[ Dokja may be another story, but...that's for her to deal with. ]
Any preferences? I'm making some attempts at puff pastries with jam filling right now.
no subject
[ Though he'll certainly be busier lately than he has been since coming back from Venera, so he might be harder to find than usual. ]
I'm not a picky eater, and honestly those sound pretty good to me.

Well maybe this will change your mind once you taste them. I'll expect your full and honest opinion, of course.

I’ll make sure not to mince my words—
[ This is a lie in and of itself. ]
And tell you exactly what I think of them.
[ It’s fortunate she’s a good cook and he won’t actually have to lie in the end. ]
