I traced Urianger and Istredd's last steps and found a pile of books they must have had with them, along with signs of a struggle.
They were taken, Himeka.

But the castle is heavily guarded. The whole city, isn't it? Does that mean this is an inside job?

Given that it sounds as if people have been taken from the Free Cities and Solvunn as well, I can only assume there's more to it than that.

Unless the group behind this has spies in all three factions.

If only we had three Thancreds to look into that.

There are a few people I want to touch base with but I'll see if the Council will meet with me. I can't imagine they are any more fond of the thought of the Summoned going missing. Nor the locals.

I am confident there are others with my work ethic and skillset to be found in the other factions. Or I hope so, at least.
