Her "default form", Himeka remains looking a lot more like her old self. She still has long, bright red hair that falls in waves, she still has fin-like protrusions instead of ears and a long expressive tail. However, she has lost her signature scales and her ears and tail have become more fleshy and fin-like in texture. Her eyes have become a bright, glowing gold and her limbs, torso, and face have become decorated in dark designs and runes (slightly nsfw). There is an everpresent spinning halo of light that floats behind her head.
She wears earthy colors of greens, browns, and golds. Her most common attire consists of skirts, a loose wrap for a top, and her iconic cloak. On the precipice of the great deep, Sui-no-Sato was isolated and cut off from the rest of the world. Without ample supplies, sickness and famine were experienced in every generation. A bad hull of fish could end in tragedy.
She resembles a deep sea creature who has lost all pigment, thin and emaciated in her torso but bloated and full in her lower half. Her neck has grown long and pliable. A fleshy veil extends from the top of her head to the end of her tail, concealing most of her face. Loose tentacles of hair slip out to cover a still very recognizable face. Bone-like extrusions jut out from her body, making her a chimera of a fish, a human, and crustacean all in one.
In the water, she is graceful and swims with leviathans. But on the land, her massive size and weight make her lose form and substance and she can appear as the rotted corpse of a beached whale unless fed.

In her Famine form, Himeka is a creature whose hunger rules her every desire. Her only desire is to consume and she will target the easiest things first: actual foodstuffs, then flora and fauna, and then the inanimate. With offerings of food she can be eventually satiated...unlike her affliction on the people and land around her. But it needs to be done before she consumes too much or something too important.
When she devours something, instead of it disappearing or being truly eaten, it instead turns into a white, dry husk of itself as if she's sucked the actual essence out of it.
Consequently, ground she's left on for too long will get the same effect.
The only exception is water: if she's placed into the water, she feels more comfortable and content and can be calmed that way.
